As a business development professional, I have extensive experience developing relationships and new business with key stakeholders, from operational management up to C-Level, in many Tier 1 businesses both in the UK and internationally. I have 25 years of experience in the online industry and 20 years of specific experience leading business development teams in digital marketing, martech, and ecommerce sales. This has resulted in winning competitive pitches for million plus GBP contracts and being responsible for delivering YOY 7 figure incremental new business.

I also have broad expertise and experience both as an operational commercial director and as a key contributor during investment fund raising rounds developing Investor Memorandums, P&L and Cashflow projections, and full-blown business plans for Boards and potential investors.

I believe that everyone in any organisation, at every level needs to understand, and buy into, why a business does what it does, what the business is looking to achieve, and how it will achieve it. I like to lead teams by bringing them along a journey which encourages them to give their very best, empowers them to deliver the best results while enriching their experience and expertise at the same time. It’s also vitally important for them to know “what’s in it for them”. This approach also builds loyalty and retention amongst staff
